Melissa completed her Bachelors and Honours degrees with a focus on animal behaviour and is currently a PhD candidate at The University of Waikato under Professor Joseph Waas. Her research will involve investigating pain mitigation strategies for dairy goat kids undergoing husbandry procedures such as disbudding.
